sending your photos via Email

There are basically three options available to you for obtaining image files that can be attached to an Email message.

·                     Have your photos put on a floppy disk or CD  when your films are developed. (this is the least costly  and most simplified method and available at almost all Photo-finishing outlets. )

·                     scan your photos onto your hard drive or a floppy. (this requires an accessory device called a scanner, and the quality of the scanned images is very dependant on technique and the original used.)

·                     Take  your own Digital photos. (Great fun, but requires the purchase of a digital camera and accessories, which makes this the most costly method. However, also the most rewarding when you've mastered it !!)

The Four steps

No matter what Email program you may be using, there are four common steps for attaching  photos to your messages ..
